Gates open at 5 PM, music from 6 - 8:30 PM. Pedal over to Hillside Gardens every Wednesday night from May through October 7th to enjoy:

The Wednesday Ride is a laid-back, welcoming group bike ride that rolls through Downtown Colorado Springs at 6 P.M. every Wednesday evening until October 28.

It's a great way to enjoy the city on two wheels, meet fellow riders, and ride bikes!

Casual, no-drop pace perfect for all skill levels

Friendly community - no elitism, just a love for bikes

A fun reason to get outside, explore, and build community

No bike? No problem!

Rent a PikeRide electric bike at one of nearly 100 stations around Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs, including a station right at Lincoln Center where the ride takes off. PikeRide is a local nonprofit ebike share advancing our community through human-focused transportation. Simply download the PikeRide app and select a membership, day pass, or pay by the minute to get started.

Pedal Party Kickoff with UpaDowna

Join UpaDowna for the Pedal Party Kickoff, the first of many weekly community bike rides for all levels as we ride off from four rotating locations across Colorado Springs every Thursday from 6 pm - 7:30 pm from June through September.

Pre-ride Waiver: Please complete the waiver before your first ride. Here is the link!

Bring a bike or rent a PikeRide for $5. PikeRide riders must be 16 years or older.

Helmets are required and UpaDowna will provide you with a loaner!

Each ride is about 6-7 miles long depending on the route. This is a community ride, not a race! Meaning there is no drop, and no cycler will get left behind as our Yeti Crew will be there to accompany all cyclists along the way. Routes will be a mix of roads and gravel - think the Pikes Peak Greenway!

Riders will get to enjoy post-ride refreshments with drink and food specials from our host sites: Cerberus Taproom, Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort, Goat Patch Brewing @ N. Cascade, & STIR at Wahsatch.

Cost: Pay what you can. At UpaDowna, we pride ourselves on accessibility for the outdoors. We do not want to let cost be a reason you cannot join our community! Check out our Season Pedal Party Pass rates:

  • Recommended Donation Season Pass: $20

  • Pay-it-Forward Season Pass: $25

  • Minimum Donation Season Pass: $15

Get Outdoors Day is an annual event for kids and families to engage with vendors and learn about ways to explore our great outdoors.

This family-friendly event will be held at Prospect Lake in Memorial Park on June 6th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and its Southern Colorado’s largest outdoor expo! Bring your kids and connect to great outdoor recreation opportunities that we have in the Pikes Peak Region, from picking up new outdoor hobbies to learning Leave No Trace principles.

Manitou Springs Colorado Wine Festival

We call it the “Colorado” wine festival because you’ll find wine made in the state of Colorado! We celebrate local wineries and vendors with a great day in the park, complete with 3 live music artists and a bevy of food trucks and tasty treats to pair with your wine samples. Be sure to grab your ticket to sample all the delicious Colorado wines and meads that will be offered!

VIP entry at 11:00 a.m. and General Admission entry at 12:30 p.m. Last entry at 4:00 p.m.

Stellina Pizza Cafe Community Group Ride

Join us at Stellina Pizza Cafe in the historic Mid Shooks Run neighborhood for a community bike ride starting at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, June 9.

Weather can be unpredictable, and rider safety always comes first. If conditions like rain make it unsafe to ride, we’ll reschedule for Tuesday, June 16. Rescheduled events will be announced on our social media, and all riders who have RSVPed will receive an email in the case this ride is rescheduled.

Bring your own personal bike for free, or reserve a PikeRide electric bicycle for $5. All participants must RSVP below.

  • 3:00 - 6:00 PM: Come early for pre-ride dining and sipping

  • 6:00 PM - 7:15 PM: Group ride

Bike to Work Day 2026

Join in on the fun of Colorado’s Bike Month with a refreshing ride to work while adding movement to your day and reducing your carbon footprint.

Bike commuters can enjoy a FREE breakfast at stations on the trail system and at local businesses from 6:00 - 9:00 AM.

Stop by the PikeRide bacon station at the US Olympic and Paralympic Museum, alongside Mountain Metro Transit.

What is Bike to Work Day?

Bike to Work Day is nationwide effort to celebrate cycling and encourage folks to try cycling for transportation on just one day.  It’s healthier, more cost-effective and contributes to cleaner air in our region. Who knows – you just might have so much fun that cycling to work becomes a regular habit!  Colorado Springs has a robust cycling infrastructure and trail system that helps you get from here to there quickly and safely, all while enjoying our beautiful City and outdoors!

Join UpaDowna for the Pedal Party Kickoff, the first of many weekly community bike rides for all levels as we ride off from four rotating locations across Colorado Springs every Thursday from 6 pm - 7:30 pm from June through September 24.

Pre-ride Waiver: Please complete the waiver before your first ride. Here is the link!

Bring a bike or rent a PikeRide for $5. PikeRide riders must be 16 years or older. Rental bikes are limited and must be RSVP’d in advance.

Helmets are required and UpaDowna will provide you with a loaner!

Each ride is about 6-7 miles long depending on the route. This is a community ride, not a race! Meaning there is no drop, and no cycler will get left behind as our Yeti Crew will be there to accompany all cyclists along the way. Routes will be a mix of roads and gravel - think the Pikes Peak Greenway!

Riders will get to enjoy post-ride refreshments with drink and food specials from our host sites: Cerberus Taproom, Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort, Goat Patch Brewing @ N. Cascade, & STIR at Wahsatch.

Cost: Pay what you can. At UpaDowna, we pride ourselves on accessibility for the outdoors. We do not want to let cost be a reason you cannot join our community! Check out our Season Pedal Party Pass rates:

Join us at Stellina Pizza Cafe in the historic Mid Shooks Run neighborhood for a community bike ride starting at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, July 14.

Weather can be unpredictable, and rider safety always comes first. If conditions like rain make it unsafe to ride, we’ll reschedule for Tuesday, July 21. Rescheduled events will be announced on our social media, and all riders who have RSVPed will receive an email in the case this ride is rescheduled.

Event Description:

Urban Veggie & Avenue 19 are hosting a 1/2 day of twinkle lights, yoga, biking, community, spirits, yummy nom-noms, giveaways, & philanthropic goodness for our friends over at PikeRide on Saturday, July 18th 2026!

The day will consist of a 60 minute Vinyasa/Power sequence by Christy Cole, (Urban Veggie), a yummy drinks/din-din from any of the SIX ahhhhhhmzing kitchens, a photo booth, a craft, and then some FANTASTIC local vendors/businesses will be providing giveaways to keep the good vibes flowing!

Bring a bike or rent a PikeRide for $5. PikeRide riders must be 16 years or older. Rental bikes are limited and must be RSVP’d in advance.

Helmets are required and UpaDowna will provide you with a loaner!

Each ride is about 6-7 miles long depending on the route. This is a community ride, not a race! Meaning there is no drop, and no cycler will get left behind as our Yeti Crew will be there to accompany all cyclists along the way. Routes will be a mix of roads and gravel - think the Pikes Peak Greenway!

Riders will get to enjoy post-ride refreshments with drink and food specials from our host sites: Cerberus Taproom, Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort, Goat Patch Brewing @ N. Cascade, & STIR at Wahsatch.

Cost: Pay what you can. At UpaDowna, we pride ourselves on accessibility for the outdoors. We do not want to let cost be a reason you cannot join our community! Check out our Season Pedal Party Pass rates:

Stellina Pizza Cafe Community Group Ride

Join us at Stellina Pizza Cafe in the historic Mid Shooks Run neighborhood for a community bike ride starting at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, August 11.

Weather can be unpredictable, and rider safety always comes first. If conditions like rain make it unsafe to ride, we’ll reschedule for Tuesday, August 18. Rescheduled events will be announced on our social media, and all riders who have RSVPed will receive an email in the case this ride is rescheduled.

Bring your own personal bike for free, or reserve a PikeRide electric bicycle for $5. All participants must RSVP below.

Bring a bike or rent a PikeRide for $5. PikeRide riders must be 16 years or older. Rental bikes are limited and must be RSVP’d in advance.

Helmets are required and UpaDowna will provide you with a loaner!

Each ride is about 6-7 miles long depending on the route. This is a community ride, not a race! Meaning there is no drop, and no cycler will get left behind as our Yeti Crew will be there to accompany all cyclists along the way. Routes will be a mix of roads and gravel - think the Pikes Peak Greenway!

Riders will get to enjoy post-ride refreshments with drink and food specials from our host sites: Cerberus Taproom, Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort, Goat Patch Brewing @ N. Cascade, & STIR at Wahsatch.

Join UpaDowna for the Pedal Party Kickoff, the first of many weekly community bike rides for all levels as we ride off from four rotating locations across Colorado Springs every Thursday from 6 pm - 7:30 pm from June through September 24.

Pre-ride Waiver: Please complete the waiver before your first ride. Here is the link!

Bring a bike or rent a PikeRide for $5. PikeRide riders must be 16 years or older. Rental bikes are limited and must be RSVP’d in advance.

Helmets are required and UpaDowna will provide you with a loaner!

Each ride is about 6-7 miles long depending on the route. This is a community ride, not a race! Meaning there is no drop, and no cycler will get left behind as our Yeti Crew will be there to accompany all cyclists along the way. Routes will be a mix of roads and gravel - think the Pikes Peak Greenway!

Riders will get to enjoy post-ride refreshments with drink and food specials from our host sites: Cerberus Taproom, Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Resort, Goat Patch Brewing @ N. Cascade, & STIR at Wahsatch.

Cost: Pay what you can. At UpaDowna, we pride ourselves on accessibility for the outdoors. We do not want to let cost be a reason you cannot join our community! Check out our Season Pedal Party Pass rates:

  • Pay-it-Forward Season Pass: $25

  • Minimum Donation Season Pass: $15

Stellina Pizza Cafe Community Group Ride

Join us at Stellina Pizza Cafe in the historic Mid Shooks Run neighborhood for a community bike ride starting at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, September 15.

Weather can be unpredictable, and rider safety always comes first. If conditions like rain make it unsafe to ride, we’ll reschedule for Tuesday, September 22. Rescheduled events will be announced on our social media, and all riders who have RSVPed will receive an email in the case this ride is rescheduled.

Bring your own personal bike for free, or reserve a PikeRide electric bicycle for $5. All participants must RSVP below.

📅 Event Schedule

  • 3:00 - 6:00 PM: Come early for pre-ride dining and sipping

  • 6:00 PM - 7:15 PM: Group ride

  • 7:15 - 9:00 PM: Stick around for post-ride eats, BOGO gelato, and Extended Happy Hour from open to close

  • Begins and ends at Stellina Pizza Cafe (749 E Willamette Ave)

  • Riders may bring their own bike for free or reserve a PikeRide ebike for $5

Ever wanted to try a recumbent bike? Come try adaptive cycling equipment, learn cycle safety and basic maintenance, and discover new ways to get outside and have fun! The clinic is FREE, hands‑on, and open to all abilities!

This event is free but we ask that you please RSVP below.

Weather can be unpredictable, and rider safety always comes first. If conditions like rain make it unsafe to ride, we’ll reschedule for Tuesday, May 19. Motorless Mornings at Garden of the Gods

Take a ride through Garden of the Gods without the car traffic! From 6 a.m. to noon on Sunday, April 26, Garden of the Gods Park eliminates motor vehicle access to the park, offering guests a unique experience in the park without cars.

PikeRiders can rent a PikeRide electric-assist bike from any nearby station and ride through the park. To have the best PikeRide experience in the Garden, make sure you ride a bike with a battery level of 87% or higher. See our curated Garden of the Gods Ride Map.

Bike, walk, run, or skate through Garden of the Gods. Without cars, the park’s winding roadways beckon to cyclists and joggers, skaters and dog walkers, offering the chance for a wide variety of user groups to join together, slow down and enjoy the splendor of this wonderful city park.

At noon, the park reopens to motor vehicles.

As always, admission to the park is free.

We need your help! Bike Colorado Springs is coordinating volunteers for the Motorless Morning event at Garden of the Gods Park on Sunday, April 26, 2026 from 5am-noon. Volunteers aid in participant management and help keep everyone safe. There are two shifts: 6am-9am and 9am-noon. We’d love to fill all 12 slots for each shift. We have roles both on and off the bike.

Residents can also bring out-of-state guests, who will receive a 20% discount on admission. The last ticket is sold at 4 p.m.

In the spirit of Jane Jacobs, join Hey Neighbor in meeting neighbors to walk, observe, and connect in Colorado Springs. The special focus of this walk will be social connection and belonging in Mid Shooks Run.

The walk route is 1.2 miles. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.
