PikeRide is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit, not a city service or a global rental company. When you give, you keep affordable transportation, safer streets, and access to resources and opportunity rolling across Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs.
Every gift made now through Dec. 8 is boosted by a $1M+ Incentive Fund through the Colorado Gives Foundation. Here’s what gifts like yours have helped make possible this year:
Increased accessibility. We hosted a free Adaptive Cycling Clinic earlier this year, and have added two new adaptive etrikes to help ensure people of all abilities can experience the freedom of riding and participate more fully in their community.
More people riding. We hosted three free Adult Learn to Ride clinics, helping more people feel confident in their riding skills.
Expansion to new neighborhoods. We are working hand-in-hand with city staff to expand access to Southeast Colorado Springs, and have opened five new stations in new neighborhoods, reaching our 500th public bike rack installation since 2018.
Safer cycling. As part of the state wide advocacy coalition we have worked at the state level for ebike safety and funding mechanisms, and continue to work with local leaders on local safety issues.
